The Korean Culture and Information Service promotes all things Korea, celebrating global cultural exchange and spreading news on Korea to foreign audiences. KOCIS covers everything ranging from government politics to art performances and film festivals. KOCIS features artists, makers, and cultural icons in New York City.
I've created a new font and branding system to bridge the Korean visual elements into something that can be universally enjoyed. Taking inspiration from traditional Korean fabrics, the geometric shapes of the alphabet, and the complex patterns in the "hanbok", a traditional attire, I've introduced a new branding system for this organization.
